Used cooking oil solidifies into chunks when temperatur is lowered. When this happens, the used cooking oil ends up clogging the drain pipe and sewage system. Most of all cooking oil is bad for your plants and your compost. So, whatever you do, DO NOT include used cooking oil or any oil for that matter into your bokashi tubs or composting bins. Let the oil cool down - and then pour in plastic containers (PET bottles) are OK. On January 20, 2021 - RMC Oil EcoSolutions Inc will share with us the ecological way of segregating and disposing off oil -one that helps the environment and also enlivens the circular economy.
